Dear parents,
We are scheduled to have our Scholastic Book Fair the week of October 7th to the 11th. Your child will visit the book fair during their library time, and it will also be open 30 minutes after school from October 7th to 9th. The book Fair will also be open during Parent Teacher Conferences on October 10th from 8 am to 3 pm and on October 1th from 8 am to 12 pm. If your child wishes to attend the book fair, they must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Also, if you are interested in creating an eWallet account for your child, you can go to https://bookfairs.scholastic.com/bf/glenviewelementaryschool5 .

Yesterday, we hosted our first Coffee with the Principal of the school year. Principal Lopez spoke to parents about school events and groups, and initiatives such as the Gator Assembly, PTA, after school enrichment classes, Parent Teacher Conferences, and the Every Day Counts program to make sure students attend school every day. He also spoke about Glen View's Community Schools designation and introduced Mrs. Lucero, our Multi Tier System Supports Specialist. We are thankful to those who attended this event. Please stay tuned for updates from our Family Liaison regarding our next Coffee with the Principal.
Ayer, tuvimos nuestro primer Café con el Director del año escolar. El Director López habló con los padres sobre los eventos y grupos escolares, e iniciativas como la Asamblea Gator, la Asociación de Padres y Maestros (PTA), las clases de enriquecimiento después de la escuela, las Conferencias de Padres y Maestros y el programa Cada día cuenta para garantizar que los estudiantes asistan a la escuela todos los días.
